I Took Harry on a birthday treat yesterday to Paultons Park. Now I don't normally like amusement parks. My memory of Thorpe Park is the stench of KFC and MacDonald's combined with a heady mix of pubescent body odour and fizzy keg bitter drunk by middle aged fat blokes in tracksuits, it was horrible. However, Paultons is a pleasant little place in pretty surroundings, it has a nice atmosphere mainly because the rides are for younger children, and ...
Along with Diane, and George and Harry when they have been with me, I have been glued to The Apprentice. In a world of shit TV this programme has been television at it's best. The regal manner of Margaret (left) and the facial contortions of Nick (right) were perfect back up for the self confessed bugle player from the Stanford Jewish Boys Brigade. When it all finished with the Reading girl Jazmina a worthy winner, it all of a sudden dawned on me ...

I found a great way to save £17 today.......dont go to Wellington Country Park. Dont get me wrong it is nice, but I could think of a hundred other places to go in Hants/Berks that cost nothing. It has a nice lake and some nice walks, but £17 is a rip off.I took the boys because it used to have canoes and rowing boats, but some clever twit from the Health Safety Department has shut it down, so there is nothing to do except walk around a lake. A ...
