The ones pictured here were taken over a couple of days in Hants/Berks and are an illustration of an industry in rapid decline.Pubs have evolved since the 12th century and are likely to continue to do so. Credit Crunch……What Is It?

Can't quite get my head round this "credit crunch" lark, but it would seem that we are all fucked! Falling house prices rising inflation, no money left to borrow or lend, where does it all end? I suppose if we are all fucked there is some sort of equilibrium, as we are all in the same boat. Boys Weekend

It has been my turn with the boys this weekend and we have had a busy time of it at my new home. On Friday George had his first indoor cricket match of the season, however special thanks to Cove CC who didn’t bother showing up, and didn’t even have the courtesy to let us know they weren’t coming. Originating from Tadley, I must have aquired some gypsy blood as I have moved again to village the North Waltham in Hampshire. What a bizarre weekend we have just had in Sofia, there is nowhere like this European Union capital of corruption that I have seen (Warsaw has nothing on this place) everything appears bent, taxis, restaurants, bars, politics, sport, the lot.
