The BBC Are Really Pissing Me Off!
Posted on March 9, 2010
Just when I thought the BBC couldn’t surpass themselves for their continued employment of Garth Crooks as football pundit, and the dreadful Jackie Oatwell as a Match of The Day commentator, they have come up with an absolute blinder in attempt to be right on and clever. They have, and this is true, decided somewhere in the bowels of their organisation, to have a woman only audience on this weeks Question Time. Priceless absolutely priceless, they must be commended for a far more annoying step than having the detestable “tory advisor” Carol Vorderman trying to be intelligent on last weeks show.
The BBC have done their utmost to annoy me in recent years, black characters in Robin Hood, extended coverage of the hideous back slapping Oscars, and a series called Survivors that is so pathetically PC in it’s casting it makes me vomit. Now we have one of the few programmes I still watch, having an all female audience of women, more than likely consisting of all the post menopausal old battle axe accounts clerks I have had to beg to for owed money over the last 15 years. What is the reasoning behind this? Well apparently this week is Woman’s Week. Whatever the hell it is about I don’t know, I daren’t look it up through fear of killing myself.
What next on QT? An all black audience, an all disabled audience, or heaven forbid an all man audience? Whoever came up with such ridiculous idea needs to pay their salary back to the license payer and find employment elsewhere, it is a disgrace. I was brought up watching and listening to the BBC, now it’s dumbing down, and pandering to pathetic ideology is making it no better than the trash you see on ITV, it is just so very depressing.
The next thing we know the BBC will be having Ant & Dec presenting the 2010 World Cup in South Africa………….Oh God why did I say that, someone from the BBC will probably stumble across this blog and think it is another fucking great idea to go along with a planned new Life On Earth series presented by Peers Morgan!!!

Glad I was miles away from that one. What a sad and misguided idea.
Even though I haven't seen Question Time for a while I still hold it up as an example of quality, intelligent BBC TV (compared to the dross we're fed in Australia), seems like I was wrong and we're all doomed to become a world of idiots. Here's another one for the modern BBC – why not Question Time by SMS? it could be called 'Bro wtf'…
