Restricted internet access is slowing up blogs temporarily whilst I am in the process of moving. I have a T-Mobile thing called a toggle or something like that, for just £12.00 a month (on a contract I inadvertantly signed for a year) you can get cut off the internet at your convenience every five minutes, and when it does work you have the download speed equivalent to a disabled tortoise, go get one folks they are fab!!

Anyway, I have last moved in to my new home, and I am delighted to say that there is twice as much work as I invisaged, I never thought it possible for handles on kitchen units to be so vomit inducing, these bastards are that evil mock porcelain two tone look. I dont know what it is about them ,but they penetrate my central nervous system in such a way that they will have to go quickly before I get violent. The lino on the kitchen floor is hardly an antedote, that will have to go too.

On to personal matters, we all did a Broughton trick or treat night on Halloween (except George who had a sleepover shrouded in mystery) followed by a meal at Sally’s and few beers, which was tinged with a bit of sadness, as Jim a member of Di’s close family passed away suddenly on Thursday. This is something that has affected Di, her family, and the whole village deeply, as he was a popular and long established member of the community. I did not really the know the chap personally, but I knew his wife, and obviously Brian and Lorri very well, and I will try to help where I can, but being an “outsider” it is hard to deal with in the right way, as at best I am hopelessly emotionally retarded when it comes to grief. Most people cry and let all their emotions out, but I go in to some sort of “fright or flight” caveman mode, it’s all a bit weird, but I do care, I am not a cold bastard, just an oddball, and I will help wherever, and however I can.

I have lots of pics from Halloween, but unfortunately if I upload them now, they may not appear on your screen until Xmas such is the download quality, I should sorted by the weekend once I have smashed the living daylights out of the kitchen and this T Mobile adaptor.
