-12 And Lovely
Posted on January 7, 2009
Southern England experienced it’s coldest night this century last night as temperatures dropped to -12 but the high pressure has brought us some stunning scenes around Hampshire. If it was July now we would be in a heatwave, but it isn’t and we are not, and we should enjoy the genuine winter weather while it lasts, as the more mundane wet westerly winds are heading our way next week. If Winters were always like this I would look forward to them, unfortunately they are more often than not mild, wet, grey and windy. Give me sunshine and frost any day.
