Christmas 2008

I have lost track of the days over Christmas as I have been here there and everywhere and it has been really nice, so the best way to describe it so far its to break it down in to days.

24th December

The boys came to me for the evening, and we stayed I and watched Gavin and Stacey, they went off at midnight and Harry went off at 2am and was up at 6am, so i was obviously ecstatic.

25th December

Boys opened the presents with me(Ipods etc) then I dropped them home and they went off to their Grandma’s for dinner, and I meandered off to Di’s place to help, and have dinner with her Mum and Step Dad Carol and Richard plus Megan and Charlotte, which was really good fun. They left at about 7pm and we walked up to Brian’s (Di’s brother) in the evening and got pissed baically, and ate lots of cheese and chocolates.

26th December

Busy. Left Di’s with a slightly musty head and picked up boys, and went off to Football v Cardiff, a cracking game, which had late tackles, fighting on the teraces, riot police, and apparent last minute winner from Cardiff followed by a dramatic equaliser in the 95th meet from Reading’s reserve team keeper Adam Federici who came up for a corner. Unbelievable, and a red rag to the already misbehaving Cardiff support, who fought with security guards and Police for long after the final whistle, Harry loved it all, fights, sendings off and crowd violence make football far more fun in his eyes.

In the evening we all went back to Brians and played games and quizzes and drunk and ate too much…..just for a change.

27th
Drinks at Steve Ballards followed by a 40th party where I fell asleep

28th

AM slept. PM Dianes Mum’s house where her ex pat relatives from Spain were visiting for Xmas, lots of tortorous long winded stories from her Uncle Billy, but good fun really.

29th

Slept untill 11, just off to the Gym
