Last night when I was checking my hotmail I was alarmed to see that I had received an email titled EXTREME CAT RAPE! A number of things concerned me regarding this email. Firstly I have only ever registered my email address to two websites, Dating Direct (sad I know) and The Times Fantasy Football League. So unless Dating Direct condones the date rape of a cat, or The Times Fantasy League has a little box saying “Please tick here if you do not wish to receive literature involving extreme cat rape” I am at a loss to where it came from.

Secondly, why call it “Extreme Cat Rape”. Surely “Cat Rape” would suffice, as unless I am being prude, any rape or sexual assault involving a cat must be classed as a tad extreme. Perhaps I am wrong, maybe there are sites called “Pleasant Cat Rape” or “Standard Cat Rape”. One presumes I am one of millions who received this email, and it is a percentage game played by the Animal Sex industry safe in the knowledge that for every million hotmail accounts they send it to, they might get a hundred new members desperate to see a cat humped half to death by some nut job out of his brains on sulphate. I can almost envisage some bloke in Norfolk or the Isle of Man opening his Hotmail yesterday thinking all his Christmases had arrived at once. “At long last Enid, an Extreme Cat Rape Site. About time too!”

Anyway, as the forecast was bad today we headed for San Sebastian across the border in to Spain, where it has been 28c and Sunny, so what a good forecast is I don’t know? San Sebastian is a pretty, bustling, and vibrant city, specifically designed and built to impress adults, and bore children shitless. Consequently our stop was relatively brief but we did get to go to a nice bar and have a cool beer and some delicious tapas (Well I did, the boys had coke and Spag Bol). We got a couple hours sightseeing in and strolled along the river (they loved that) before coming back to base in Bidart. The boys are now of to the swimming pool, whilst I go in search for the camp site cat!!
