Arrival On Holiday

We arrived on Holiday yesterday after a horrendous journey through France in the rain and heavy traffic.The first Saturday in august is known as “Black Saturday” because of the holiday season starting in the main French cities, and so it turned out. Anyway we are here now and settled in to a lovely park and the sun is shining brightly, so all okay. It is still a bit surreal being here as a single Dad, as every time you talk to someone or book something, people are always looking to see where your wife is. We had a bit of a laugh at the hotel on Friday night as when the receptionist asked where Mrs Lethaby was I said “Under the patio” which both confused and alarmed her at the same time.
